BX-OI3 Output/input module

Beginning with edition number 20-2100001-01-02 The BX-OI3 output/input module can be used as either O/I module or as detector/detection zone for connecting special detectors. It meets the SecuiLine eXtended specification for operation on the ring circuit of the SecuriFire fire detection system. The BX-OI3 can be connected to the SecuriLine eXtended ring cir cuit of the SecuriFire fire detection system. The BX-OI3 can be used as either an O/I module (1 relay output, 2 monitored inputs, 1 opto-isolator) or as detector/detection zone for connecting special detectors. Input 1 can be programmed as checkback. Addressing and parameter assignment for the BX-OI3 is performed with PC software via the fire alarm control panel. The BX-OI3 includes a short-circuit isolator. In the event of wire breakage or a short-circuit, this functionality ensures that the fault is localized and at the same time maintains the full operability of the ring circuit.

  • Special Detector Integration: The module is particularly well-suited for connecting special detectors, such as flame and linear detectors, and aspirating smoke detectors. 
  • SecuriLine Compatibility: The BX-OI3 can be connected to the SecuriLine eXtended ring circuit of the SecuriFire fire detection system. 
  • Short-Circuit Isolation: An integrated short-circuit isolator ensures that faults are localized, maintaining the full operability of the ring circuit in case of wire breakage or short-circuit. 
  • Programming and Addressing: Addressing and parameter assignment for the BX-OI3 is performed with PC software via the fire alarm control panel. 
  • IP 66 Protection: The module is housed in a plastic case with IP 66 protection class, suitable for various environments.
