Cerberus® PRO Modular

System Overview : A basic Cerberus PRO Modular fire alarm control panel (FACP) consists of one (1) of the following parts: Operator interface; power supply (PSC-12M); Class X Device Loop Card (XDLC); Device Loop Card(DLC); Zone Indicating Card (ZIC-4A); five-slot card cage (CC-5); Inner Door Blank Single Plate (ID-SP), and a CAB1, CAB2 or CAB3 system enclosures. Optional modules that can be installed on a Cerberus PRO Modular FACP include: Card Cage (Model CC-2); Network Interface Card (Model NIC-C); 8-Circuit Zone Indicating Card (Models ZIC-8B / ZIC-2C); Output Control Module (Model OCM-16); Switch Control Module (Model SCM-8); LED Control Module (Model LCM-8); Fan Control Module (Model FCM-6); Supervised Input Module (Model SIM-16); Power Supply Extender (Model PSX-12M); Remote Network Interface (Model RNI); Remote Printer Module (Model RPM); System Status Display (Model SSD); Digital Alarm Communicator (Model FCA2015-U1) Multi-Point Digital Alarm Communicator (Model MDACT); Two Module Remote Enclosure (ModelREMBOX2), and the Four-Module Remote Enclosure (Model REMBOX4). Additionally, Cerberus PRO Modular panels are compatible with all of the advanced Siemens field devices in signaling appliances and intelligent, addressable detection.

  • Supported Devices: Each  Loop card supports four (4) `Class A’, eight (8) `Class B’ circuits for up to a total of 252 addressable devices .                                                                                                                                                                               
  • Modular Design: The system is designed for scalability and flexibility, allowing for expansion and customization to meet specific needs.                                                                                                                                                                            

  • Programming: Offers powerful and easy-to-use programming capabilities, fully programmable through a Windows operating system. 

  • User Interface: Features a 6-inch backlit LCD display, multi-language display, and a user-friendly system interface with diagnostic LEDs. 
  • Alarm Verification: Supports alarm verification by device, zone, and pre-alarm operation. 
  • Fire Print Technology: Supports Fire Print application-specific detection and single-person “Walk Test” capabilities.                                                                                                                                                                                               
  • Remote Access: Offers remote viewing and control capabilities.
  • Enclosures: Available in various enclosure sizes, including REMBOX2 and REMBOX4 for remote mounting of modules and CAB2 for mid-sized enclosures. 
  • Power: Features a primary, regulated power supply, with options for 120VAC or 240VAC universal AC power input. 
  • Fire Protection: Supports pre-action, deluge, and sprinkler supervision. 
  • Other Features: Supports multiple command stations, coded outputs, and is seismic certified.

  • Communication: Includes RS-485 interface, USB connections, and a high-speed Ethernet port.                                       
  • Messaging: Supports 32-character custom messages, 40 programmable macro and function buttons, and global annunciation and control capability.                                                                                                                                                                
  • Network Capabilities: Ability to network with other Cerberus PRO Modular systems creating a larger, interconnected system.                                                                                                                                                                                                             
  • Sure Wire Technology: Features patented polarity-insensitive detection circuits for reliable addressable loop communication.                                                                                                                                                                                           
  • Multiple Command Stations: Supports multiple command stations for enhanced control and monitoring.             
  • Compatibility: Backward compatible with Siemens legacy MXL and XLS systems.
