The Glyptic Linear Heat Sensing (LHS) Cable Temperature of 88℃/190°F is specifically designed to detect fire conditions in critical industrial applications. It features two twisted, tri-metallic conductors with exceptionally low conductor resistance, insulated and sheathed in advanced thermal polymers. These polymers are engineered to break down at a predetermined temperature, allowing the twisted conductors to make contact and trigger an alarm in the fire detection system. Choosing the optimal LHS cable for the fastest alarm response depends on the maximum ambient temperature of the hazardous area or equipment being protected.
