Notifier Mini Monitor FMM-101

  • Purpose:
    • It supervises a Style B (Class B) circuit of dry-contact input devices. This means it monitors devices like:
      • Manual fire alarm pull stations
      • Waterflow devices
      • Conventional heat detectors
      • Other normally-open dry-contact alarm activation devices.

  • Key Features:
    • Compact Design: Its small size allows it to be installed in a single-gang electrical box behind the monitored device.
    • Addressable: It’s used in intelligent, two-wire systems where each module has a unique address.
    • SLC Loop Powered: It’s powered directly by the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop, eliminating the need for additional power.
    • LED Indication: It features an LED that flashes green during normal operation and turns steady red in an alarm condition.
    • Built-in Type Identification: It automatically identifies itself to the fire alarm control panel.
    • Wiring: Designed for ease of wiring.
  • Applications:
    • Monitoring dry-contact devices in fire alarm systems.
    • Monitoring supervisory devices.
    • It can be used to replace MMX-101 modules in existing systems.
  • In essence:
    • The FMM-101 is designed to provide a way for a fire alarm control panel to monitor the status of various dry contact devices. If the device changes state, the FMM-101 reports this change to the panel
