Notifier Relay Module FRM-1

Core Function:

• The FRM-1 provides a dry-contact relay output that can be controlled by the fire alarm control panel. This allows the system to activate or deactivate external devices based on alarm or other system conditions.

• Addressability:
  • It’s an addressable module, enabling precise control and monitoring from the fire alarm control panel.   
• Dry-Contact Relay:
  • It features a Form-C relay contact, providing normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts. This enables versatile control of external devices.   
• Control of Auxiliary Devices:
  • It can be used to control a wide range of auxiliary devices, such as:
    • Door holders
    • Elevator recall   
    • HVAC systems   
    • Lighting systems
    • any device requiring a dry contact closure.
• Status Indication:
  • It typically includes an LED indicator to provide visual status information, such as relay activation.   
• SLC Loop Powered:
  • It is powered by the signaling line circuit.
• Supervision:
  • The FRM-1 can be configured to supervise the wiring to the external device.
